My mom always had some adventure on her way to work ...some are too funny not to share... The sidewalks were icy on mom's way to work but she had to stop and get her usual coffee and sandwich. When she came out of the deli she noticed a pigeon, yes a pigeon, watching her. She took a step forward, the pigeon moved forward, she took a step to the side, the pigeon stepped to the side. Well after several minutes of this little game she finally decided to say "screw it" and walk - well at that exact same moment the pigeon took flight and went straight for her head!! She ended up slipping and falling on the ice and the pigeon got what he wanted: her sandwich!!
